Well, it’s fall. You know what that means? France is firing. For the first two days of the recent swell, Hossegor was absolutely amazing.

As far as beachbreaks go, Hossegor is up there with the best of them. When you think of it, it’s likely you think of barrels, but it’s more than just a tube magnet for tube hounds. There are surf spots all over that stretch of coastline that offer up waves for all skill levels. As fall rolls on, the swells get bigger and so do the crowds. But the greatest thing about beachbreaks is that the lineup is often spread thin, and in the case of this swell, there was ample room… if you could put yourself in the spot.
