The Wedge is certainly one of California’s most famous waves. It’s not a perfect wave — far from it, really — but its imperfections are what make it what it is. And in early November, a sneaky swell made its way into Newport and lit things up.

“The Wedge is pumping and heavy from a mysto swell in November, 2025! Moments of clean perfection graced the day at times and some sweet waves were had along with some scary shallow heavers,” wrote Beefs.TV. “This is a pretty raw look at all the carnage and glory that went down.”

As is generally the case when the Wedge is going off, a handful of familiar faces were in the lineup, including Shea Porter, Tim Burnham, Brad Domke, Sage Burke, Addy Giddings, Cory Bolter, Kalani Robb, Dan, Mason, Aaron Mason, and more. It was a day to remember for sure, and there might be more on the horizon.
